We are so excited to introduce to you Dr. Boyd as the newest DVM at our practice. This is her first full week of appointments so if you see her in the office, give her a welcome. She will be seeing both large and small animal.
Dr. Grace Higgs Boyd is originally from Frankfort, Kentucky where she grew up showing livestock and was heavily involved in 4-H and FFA. She attended the University of Kentucky and earned a Bachelors of Science in Agricultural and Medical Biotechnology in 2019. Dr. Boyd is a 2023 graduate of the Auburn University Collage of Veterinary Medicine. She now resides in Mayslick, Kentucky where she and her husband Blake raise purebred Angus and Hereford cattle with his family. Dr. Boyd is the proud owner of Benny the Bernedoodle and Maverick the Corgi. Outside of practicing veterinary medicine, she enjoys being active, traveling and spending time with family and friends.

We are not currently accepting new small animal clients or emergencies. You must already have an existing account with us.
If you are planning on sending your pet to the office with someone who is not listed as secondary on your account, you must call the office and give permission for them to make medical decisions. We will not allow decisions to be made by persons not listed on the account and they will not receive updates. The main account holder will be held financially responsible for any decisions made by others listed on the account.
